I know I am not a cat so maybe I don't understand how this whole 'mouse hunting' operation is suppose to run but I hoped I would see more action and less napping. He tells me he is playing the LONG game and working at this mouse psychologically from the INSIDE. The mouse will come to him and beg for death he says. This cat is delusional, I say.

that's the way they work. they wait until you're not watching then make their move. you'll look down one evening and see a gaggle of dead mice and one smirking cat.
