The More I See Of This Movie, The More I Think I Will Like It

"We should use these powers to help people."

That seems to be the key thing missing from the current run of DC movies. So... yeah. This just moved up a notch on my list.

Already this looks better than the first 2 they made. Although Reed Richards looks too young. Ioan Griffudd was a better, more mature age for the role.

Mine too. Is there even a DC movie out there? Besides those animated features which are very well done.

No No NO..!! I have zero-faith in this movie.

Totally agreed on Ioan Griffudd, he was an excellent Reed Richards, but the rest of the casting was so-so at best.

Wish they'd just go back to a retro-styled movie, back during the heat of the Cold War..!!

david_b is right, late 50's/early 60' space race would be ideal, no need to tie it into current continuity.

That would have been great but I am taking this one for what it is and hope to enjoy it.

I think this could probably be a decent, generic superhero movie... but it's not my idea of the FF. It seems to be yet another film in the shadow ( literally ) of The Dark Knight - all grim 'n' gritty, no fun.
And... "We should use these powers to help people"??? Even back in 1961 Stan Lee was writing better dialogue than that:
"You don't have to make a speech, big shot! We understand! We've gotta use that power to help mankind, right?"
Now, which line sounds more like the REAL Thing? ( Baby )

It's not the FF we know but it's a superhero movie and I try to watch all of those that I can find.
