I like the way they didn't even try to animate grumpy cat. Most of the time it looks like someone is holding her in front of the camera and just moving her around. She probably refused to do anything like read her lines or hit her marks. I love how terrible the whole thing looks. It might be the thing I am looking forward to seeing most this holiday season.
Well that and those Von Trapp Children and their ridiculously complicated puppet show.
This car was stolen in our town.

Grumpy Cat's Christmas special look mediocre (except for the perfect casting of Aubrey Plaza) but you know she'll be better than the Geico Caveman sitcom.
oh of course. I want this GC movie to be wonderfully horrible. like a GC movie should be.
The AI movie looks like it could be interesting. The GC movie looks like Lifetime's version of Sharknado, as in a big cheesy draw for ratings.
The Grumpy Cat movie has to be self-conscious parody of itself or nobody would take it seriously.
Of course. In the larger sociological context yes, but we must introduce grumpy cat to the ignorant masses first and this seems the most low brow way to do it.
