From the syndicated Bob Newhart Show to the Simpsons I have always enjoyed the work of Marcia Wallace. She had a way of making me laugh with all her characters but none so much as lonely school teacher Edna Krabappel. Capturing the snark of the school teacher is tough to do but she always pulled it off.

Loved her way back on the Bob Newhart Show and when she would appear on Match Game. She was funny, she will be missed.
I was thinking of her on Match Game too. Those old repeats never get old. Nipsy Russel? Are you kidding me?
Very few people of today would recall Nipsy Russel....
So sorry to hear of her passing...
